October 17-18, 2009: IOWA!

This weekend we drove down to Iowa with Grandma to visit family. This is the first time I've left the safety of the state of Minnesota, I think I'd be willing to do it again. Especially if I get to go places with my cousins. Auntie Val and Uncle Tim and Alexa and Evan came with!

This weekend, Evan promised he would teach me how to play baseball someday.

The drive was nice; I was able to get some uninterrupted napping in. We made lots of stops to visit different people, but the most exciting stop was to meet my Great-Grandma Titler at her new apartment.

Four Generations!

Also, I got to try swimming again!

Well, time to get some rest; tomorrow will be my first full day with Halmoni!

October 16, 2009: Busy Morning

When I went to bed I was swaddled in two blankets, this is how I woke up.

October 14, 2009: "Perfectly Proportioned"

I had my two month check up today! I am now 15 pounds 8 ounces and 25.5 inches long. I'm at the top of the chart (97%) for height and weight, but according to my doctor, I am "perfectly proportioned". On top of being measured I got three shots and an oral vaccination - turns out, I like cherry flavored Tylenol.

After getting all my shots, we went to drop off my vaccination paperwork at my new daycare. I will be going there on Thursday and Fridays when Mom and Dad are at work. I got to meet my teachers and spent some time hanging out, watching my future friends. I'm the youngest in the room - and it turns out the oldest kid is named Henry too. He will be moving to the next group next month, so then I can be the only Henry, and the cutest too.

October 3-10, 2009: Breezy Point

This past week, we were at Breezy Point with Grandpa and Halmoni. This was the first time I've been on a vacation or been away from home overnight.

I had tons of fun - I got to be held all the time (four adults to one me - *woo hoo*)! I went swimming for the first time and even went to a meat raffle at the American Legion in Pequot Lakes.
